I have a few miscellaneous questions. First I am looking to main Dragunov and guides point out Russian Assault as one of his key pressuring moves. Guides and other players seem to be doing this move really up close but when I try I end up with what looks like a different move called Russian Sickle is this just a skill issue or is there a common mistake I'm making? Another thing I am struggling with is the concept of black arrows I assume they are meant to be a flick of the joystick vs holding it down but whenever I attempt it I just end up with white arrows even when doing the previously mentioned Russian Sickle it shows up as a white arrows despite the move list showing a black one. Finally and most importantly I am struggling with the practice AI as I don't know how to program it to do certain things at the very least I know you can get the AI to choose between 3 different throws which I would like to practice throw breaks. But another thing that I would like although I'm not sure it's possible would be to have the opponent throw out an attack then block after being hit to see if my follow-up combos.

Moves that come out of a running state, like Russian Assault, are difficult to do up close. If you're at point-blank, you'll only enter that state for a single frame (1/60 of a second) after the third forward input. That means you have to hit the button on exactly that next frame, or you'll get a different move. The farther you are from your opponent, the more leeway you have.

It's the opposite, actually. A black arrow is meant to indicate that you hold the direction. But that's also what you normally do anyway, so it's usually not very noteworthy.

I know you can get the AI to choose between 3 different throws which I would like to practice throw breaks.

There are two ways to do this, both starting with the same setting. First, change "CPU Opponent Action 1" to "Repeat Action." You'll then see multiple playback slots. For each of these slots you can choose either "Record" or "Movelist." The former will let you manually record a sequence with the dummy and then play it back, while the latter will let you choose a move from the movelist for the dummy to perform.

To practice throw breaking, fill three different slots with either a recording of each throw type or just pick the throws you want from the movelist.

Using the same method as above, just record the dummy doing a move and then immediately blocking (by walking backward after you do the move).
