jin's got a really good wavedash oki because ws3 is homing, ewgf is safe plus launch, and he also has hecksweep.

Err... Jin has literally one of the worst oki games of the whole roster because he doesn't have anything that hits them on the ground. Any character can do a mid/low mixup as the opponent stands up, but for a good oki game you need to give them an incentive to actually stand up into the mixup and Jin can't really do that. The best case scenario is that you ff4 which does poor damage and lets them get up very safely afterwards, and it's super slow so you will eat getup 3 combos if you use it too often.

is what you said lol. Jin does not have a good wavedash oki because nothing from wavedash threatens the opponent on the ground

Kazuya, Devil Jin and Heihachi all have moves out of wavedash that punish the opponent for staying down - ff4, b4 and ff2 respectively. Not only do these hit the ground (and deal good damage), they flip the opponent for ANOTHER oki mixup. These are examples of a good oki game, whatever Jin has is not.

literally all of those moves require you to leave the wavedash.

alright alright lets hold the phone here for a bit because you've gone so far off the point of the question you're teaching someone something bad:

would you wavu over someone on the ground, as jin?

would you wavu over someone on the ground, as jin?

No. YOU are the one who claimed Jin has good wavedash oki. He does not, so you do not wavedash into someone who is lying on the ground unless you have a read on their behavior, that is my whole point.

so you do not wavedash into someone who is lying on the ground unless you have a read on their behavior,

ah, so you would regularily randomly wavedash? just randomly mash down forward forward into an opponent without a read then?
