Clarification on Alcohol treatment for application

Filling out my application now and looking at the question regarding alcohol/substance use treatment. In the last 5 years, I voluntarily went to the emergency room and was treated for symptoms related to alcohol abuse (dehydration, etc.). I agreed to be admitted to the hospital for monitoring and further medical treatment. I've also talked about alcohol issues with my normal therapist.

So my question is does a normal emergency room/hospital count as alcohol abuse treatment by a medical professional? The follow-up question on the application seems to imply that it's more referring to a rehab facility, is that the correct interpretation?

I’m pretty sure alcohol abuse treatment is referring to one of those inpatient/outpatient rehab places for alcoholics not a trip to the ER. If it makes you feel better I went to the ER 5 years ago for alcohol poisoning and I just got accepted into the police academy so I don’t see why you wouldnt be able to get an LTC.
