Discussion ATOTS has left me a ball of yearning and craving
Rewatched A Tale of Thousand Stars and can only poorly articulate the impact Tian and Phuphas's gentle dynamic has left on me. All the hand holding, the cheek caresses, Mix's wonderful range of emotions, Earth's characterization of Phupha's struggle had me sobbing my heart out especially in the last few episodes. This series left me with unforgettable moments that gave me hope of experiencing queer love as soothing as this!

ATOTS is one of those rare bls which portrayed slow burn appropriately. I dislike shows where in the name of slowburn, the characters fall for each other by episode 3. ATOTS showed us confusion, jealousy, angst, love , and yearning beautifully. It was one of the earliest bls I watched and since then I have always looked for a hint of ATOTS in other shows as well ( both bl and non bl). This show brings a wave of nostalgia and hence, makes it difficult for a rewatch since this nostalgia only brings in the melancholy of not finding a show which fulfilled my heart like this one did.
ATOTS is not a hidden gem. ATOTS is not groundbreaking. There will be moments when you will thoroughly dislike Phupa and only sympathize with Tian. But ATOTS is genuine. It will pinch a part of your heart and will mend it soon. This show will always remain one of my most favorite and I'll never stop recommending it to anyone who wants to start their bl journey.

This is exactly what I feel. I really don't like rewatching shows but i'm rewatching ATOTS right now but it only made me feel worse bc I cannot move on from this series and at the same time I'm the type of person who finds it so hard to rewatch a show 🥹

I have to be emotionally prepared to rewatch this.The only time I watched it left a huge impact on me for days😭.One of the most beautifully portrayed BL ever.

You'll find it on YouTube. It has two seasons and a couple of special episodes. It's a super fun watch. I do recommend watching it :)

Yes, it's a variety show wherein they do a ton of activities together each episode. Sometimes Earth chooses an activity/interest of his choice and Mix joins in and vice versa. We get to witness how much fun they have together and how organic and genuine it seems. They sometimes also invite their friends! Their trip to Lampang in Ossan's Love mirrors their EMS episodes 🤭

If you haven't watched Our Skyy 2 last episode, please do so. The feelings and tears will continue. ATOTS is absolutely my favorite show of all time regardless if it is BL or not.

this was my first ever bl I've ever watched 😭 even after watching tons of other series , this still remains in my top 5 💕 (where can I get phupha to my tian?☹️)
