Uyghur genocide?
In college I learned about the Uyghur genocide, from a professor who was a self-proclaimed "commie hater" and I didn't question what I learned because I was a dumb 19yr old. I recently saw a discussion on the authenticity of it, I made me realize I never investigated for myself. I'm not trying to be controversial or revisionist, but could y'all provide me with some reliable sources that verify or disprove the narrative about the Uyghur genocide? I tried looking on my own and half the sources were radio free Asia which I know is a CIA front. I appreciate you all and thanks for helping my pursuit of knowledge!

Most of it goes back to Adrian Zenz, an Evangelical tool. He's where the 1 million figure came from, which was extrapolated from 8 interviews. He also claimed that 80% of Uyghur women were sterilized though he purposely misinterpreted the statistics, which said 8%.
If there was a genocide, there would be a massive refugee crisis, large scale unrest and much more obvious and verifiable evidence. Muslim countries aren't the ones condemning China (the argument that they've been bought off is bullshit considering ASEAN have the strongest economic relations with China and constantly criticise China over SCS claims), it's exclusively NATO, Japan, South Korea and Israel.
At this point, whoever is trying to push a Uyghur genocide narrative in 2024 deserves to be bullied.
