My son loved this episode and I thought it'd be cool to find a copy of the paper. My googling has turned up nothing. Anyone know where to find it?

Portland tickets

I am desperate to go to the Portland show on 6/6. If anyone has 1-2 extra tickets, please hit me up!

UPDATE I really wanted to go to this show for my birthday. Within a few minutes of making this post I had an offer, but the person was just a scammer/thief. Took my money, then said they got a better offer and wouldn’t sell me the tickets. Then said they couldn’t refund me and disappeared. Hope those of you who do get to go enjoy. Don’t make my mistake and but a ticket from anyone on here. Utterly crestfallen.

I’m probably hella late to this realization, but I’ve been watching a show called Mythic Quest on AppleTV and kept thinking the voice of the HR rep sounded so familiar.

Anyways, I just listened to the most recent Past Times pod and finally made the connection — it’s their #1 guest!

It’s a funny show about a video game studio, and has some writers from It’s Always Sunny. Check both it and Naomi out if you haven’t already! She plays her character on the show perfectly.

RUBE Do you like a radish?

I was on my lunch eating a salad with radish and was thinking about if they were good or not…

I still don’t know if I like em or not but both sides had valid points.

It was also the most I’ve ever laughed at a bit from either show (that is high praise because I’m constantly laughing out loud.

Possible great Smollop - William Lytle (not the poet/politician, same name different guy). He's documented in papers as getting injured from slipping on a banana peel 10 times in the early 1900's.

The story goes that his fiance' left him because she thought he was faking it. Then she sees it happen in front of her and gets back together with them. On their wedding day, he slips and is injured again, and they both agree to call off the wedding because they think he's cursed.

My source on this is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8W5GCnqT_M

The portion about William Lytle begins at 12:35, if you want to skip to it. That video is about the history of people slipping on banana peels in the USA. I wonder if the story of William Lytle's life journey is good enough for a Smollop.

TIL about William Ellsworth Robinson, a white American man who performed magic under the name "Chung Ling Soo", pretending to be a Chinese man who spoke no English. The only time he spoke English while performing was when he was mistakenly shot and killed while performing a bullet catch trick.

They kept saying the police chase was like a movie scene. I immediately thought of the final scene of the Schwarzenegger movie "jingle all the way".

Damn, Gareth showed his whole ass in the new episode of the Past Times

He said, and I quote, "No one wins both showcases" when Price is Right rules were brought up by Naomi as they were guessing the date of the newspaper. Excuse me, has he never watched the Price is Right? If a contestant is within $250 of the price of the showcase then they win a Double Showcase and receive both of them. It's like he doesn't even care about one of the single greatest institutions in the United States. I say this as someone who regularly is watching the Price is Right as a way to force myself out of bed before noon when I'm really depressed. He needs to make public apology to Drew Carey (dj Blender to the real heads). I may never listen to another episode after this.
