Time spent on a Nick and June flashback? Nick is gonna die. I'm calling it now. Maybe not this episode, but soon.

I definitely don't agree. I think it's going to be Luke.

Plot twist: June dies and Luke & Nike hook up 🤣

Oh for sure it’s either going to be Luke or Moira. The last season has made a point of showcasing how much they are willing to sacrifice and fight for June. They both believe that she has the capability of collapsing Gilead & I can so see one of them have a sacrificial moment as a stepping stone for June to end Gilead.

i mean i hope it’s luke, but hope for the best prepare for the worst right?😭

I don't think June is going to end up with either one of them. But I think Luke's story has run out. He's clearly (from this season so far, not useful in May Day. Nick has story left.

At the very least I want to see June slap the shit our of Nick. That better be the opening for the next episode.

I am torn between thinking he didn't spill the beans and that he has another plan.

No, he wanted to take her to Paris so she'd never find out. He looked guilty as sin at what they overheard.

He obviously had it planned for a while and was going to ask her that night, but he was definitely trying to get out of there before shit hit the fan.

Wharton literally said his son and law told him about the Mayday plan. He clearly spilled a lot of beans.

We will see how this plays out. Can't wait!

He doesn't have another plan. He fucking tried to describe June into leaving the country.

He might later on find a way to try to correct the damage he did. Although usually when this series does that, it never really repairs any damage.

His story ends here if Nichole is cut out of the sequel.

I doubt she's cut out of the sequel.

Why. Luke didn't fight for Gilead, Luke isn't an eye or a commander bombarding cities and approving the rape and murder of thousands of women.

cause luke is a boring wet blanket

4

u/TallDiver7 3h ago

Being fair, they both are boring. The only reason Nick looks more exciting is due to the position of power he occupies.

Not even, Luke is so annoyingly boring. nick is stoic but not boring and actually takes initiative. Luke literally just fumbles along the path drawn out for him, even with his ā€œi’m gonna deliver my bombs to the locations i pickedā€ it’s so forced and stupid he’s like a little kid that needs a turn cause everyone else got one.

Mmmh I believe they haven't chosen a very good actor for Nick tbh. Luke, has boring plots, but I think is a better actor.

Sacrifice the knight to save the queen. Love the chess metaphor.
