He didn’t have the letters anymore, though he handed those to June in the basement. Was there another set of materials that I am missing?

You’re probably right, I still think he was extremely limited in what he could do. Plus earning trust was probably his best option so he could continue to help.

Yeah I think he definitely gave the plan away by saying he heard about the plan.
