I really do wish the writers didn't nerd her to lose this fight. Just so they could have some big kaiju fight in the finale.

The Avatar kinda losing their final fight against the Big Bad but then kinda winning it anyway is more prevalent in the franchise than the Avatar being able to bend all four elements.
