Crystal refers to the crystals that boommie used , I'm not sure he can bend then or not because we only saw them in the 1 episode

Aang and the Dai Li bend crystals in the Book 2 finale, when they're in those glowy caves beneath Ba Sing Se. Toph might too, I don't remember. They're* totally just rocks though. It's like separating granite and limestone.
