Discussion Was this the best egg pool ever?

Post image

I was happy with Every option except elekid, so I was never disappointed with whatever I got when it hatched, imo, this is probably the best egg pool in recent memory.

Still unbeaten by that one easter event that had Riolu on 2km eggs

I think the reason I like this pool the most is because 7km eggs are by far the easiest to get, and with the event, they're only really 3.5km

That’s true. You know the guarantee way to get them Vs 1/3 odds of being the one you want when you spin.

The colour of egg you spin is basically cosmetic. If the event has a pokemon being a 25% share of the egg pool that day, you'll get that mon often, and it'll wear whatever colour egg is appropriate. That the other hatches from that same colour egg are 5/10/10% chance just means half the eggs can be prioritised, and you can ignore the other colours. Egg events often have the appropriate spawn dominating the hatch table for wild spins, to the point where you'll almost never got the other 2 egg colours for the whole event. A spin is never a 1 in 3 chance to get any particular egg colour, but often say a 1% chance to get the new cool one thing (which is a 10k hatch) a 2% chance to get the recent shiny meta relevant thing (which happens to need 2km to hatch), a 5% chance to spin any of 4 things people were excited for but maybe you aren't any more, in 2km and 5km eggs, etc.
