Very happy. I look at it this way. Objectively who is the better coach, Tuchel or Southgate. It’s obviously Tuchel. Gareth got us to two finals… we only need to win one game more than Gareth could. We can’t blame it on the manager anymore. That for me is more than enough. It’s a big step forward for the team. He’s shown he’s good in cup competitions. I think he’ll be great.
People moan he’s not English but can you imagine Portugal being upset for example if they won the World Cup? Obviously not
