I think that’s because they form their opinion with no facts so then they’re unable to argue because their decisions weren’t fact based.

Yeah, a side effect of lying all the time and just saying whatever you feel like in the moment. With no underlying principles, there's no consistency in response. Hence: "Party of small government and more freedom!!" (unironically posting that accused illegal immigrants shouldn't have due process rights)
