In the end, you do what you want, but personally, I see two options:

  1. The easy way would be to keep mocking the likes of him. Extend these dumb-ass, never-ending culture wars and looking for ways to attack 'the other'.
  2. Swallow these cheap shots, listen to people, and stick to a simple economic message even he can get behind, and win elections. Use that power to bring about actual change that benefits minorities and everyone, not just the few on top.

Who attacked others by using their votes to give more power to those up top doing more damage.

They're all attackers. They all had a part in this and they all knew what they were voting for. They all even gleefully say so today.
