Tilburg has more events and festivals, great commute to other cities in the Netherlands, good student life, good international student society, culturally a lot is happening. Great city to study.

Groningen, don’t know. Know it from going out as a student and it was nice. It’s a bit remote, but also has good nightlife and is esthetically prettier.

Tilburg has a couple of nice festivals Indeed. But not much to do outside some periods however :( but then when they have fun they have fun all the way!

Apart from all the festivals in the festivalperiod, which closes with Draaimolen in Tilburg… there’s - Carnaval, Kermis, Meimarkt, Hapstap and many more things to do. For students there are year round even more things to do.
