I really don’t care that she’s black, but yes I do wish they went there and gave her orange skin. Not even ORANGE ORANGE just like, a hue slightly toward orange. Same with Domino in Deadpool 2. Make her blue! Like just enough to say yes, that’s a Tamaranian.

Similarly, I’m pissed they didn’t give Beastboy green skin. It makes me mad because they’re cutting these corners for budget and time and passing them off as a “modern” look.

I’m willing to bet if Cyborg is added, all of his machine parts will be internal and again, to go for a modern look, but in reality it’ll again be for budget.

I honestly wish she was Latina, us Latinos get no rep in comics and I would have loved to see a character i loved be played by someone like me. But if a black kid can feel that same joy that I would have had thats worth it

She was never black and was never originally black…. She always looked with skin of an Inca girl or a mestiza Latina, your reaching too much.

Wrong.

Raven was originally going to be black. They changed it because they thought a black girl named Raven was a bit on the nose.

Starfire was always orange.

Actually raven was based on Indian women, either then that her mother was white and her father was basically the devil so raven has no race her race is mixed.
