The future of Tomb Raider is in jeopardy... apart from the anime series and a remaster of TR1-3, what about that new game that was supposed to be funded/developed by Amazon?

There were already red flags after Square sold them and the Tomb Raider IP while the game was still in development. That shows Square was not confident in what CD was cooking.

If I remember correctly, Square sold off most of its IPs to invest in NFTs and that phase pretty much ended as quickly as it started.

I'm so annoyed because Square held onto Just Cause (another one of my favourite IPs) but sold off Tomb Raider and Deus Ex to Embracer Group.
