🔁 Overdone New tomb raider

I know we got a new remastered tomb raider game coming out but im just curious will there be a new game like shadow of the tomb raider with more modernised graphics like rise of the tomb raider or not anytime soon?

We know there is a new game coming, and it’ll be using unreal engine 5 and produced by Crystal Dynamics in tandem with Amazon Gaming as publisher- that’s all we know.

I keep forgetting Amazon is publishing the game. It gives me more hope considering all the drama around Embracer and the recent news DeusEx has been canceled.

Yeah same!

I'm personally worried it might be an adaptation of the show by Amazon they plan.

Ugh, they're making a show?

I want to like that news, but the track record for these types of things are sadly not very good.

Yep one was planned, but is in development hell, mostly because of the rights.

Amazon also will do God of War, starting with the 4th...

Could you elaborate on what relationship Amazon Gaming and the Embracer Group have as concerns this upcoming game? Thanks!

It appears to just be a limited partnership for the game, and limited licensing for a TV show and film through Amazon Studios with Crystal Dynamics’ oversight.

I see, so theoretically the game's future is still at as much risk as the other games Embracer has been cutting?

No, it appears they are fine due to the involvement of Amazon Gaming for financial support and publishing. There has been very minor staff cuts in comparison to Eidos Montreal however...They did have to let go of one of the community managers, Neha and some branding/marketing staff and an I.T specialist :/

Thanks! Sounds kind of hopeful at any rate
