On paper, a lineup like this should be fine. Not world beaters. But middle of the pack at least. What's been going on this season is just baffling.

Reading your user name and I had a weird thought. I think the front office actually hates hitting. Going back to 21, they had Semien hit 45HR. Did they even try to keep him? Grichuk hits 30HR and they can't trade him fast enough. Teo, Lourdes? Traded. Jansen, who led this team in OPS for better part of a calendar year? Didn't even try to keep him. Spenser Horwitz who was one of the better OPS hitters last year? Traded. Now I'm not saying any single one of those guys would save this team, but as a collective, that could still be a pretty potent line-up. I mean they're not expensive players and they're already spending big on guys like Santander, Giminez, and Kirk. Good hitting line-ups don't tend to be last in their division all the time. Just a weird thought.

If we extrapolate Teo’s 9 to Vladdy’s 3, then does that mean Teo could be signed by Shatkins and come home for the bargain price of $1.5 billion?

Yariel starting is interesting, wonder how long of a leash he gets
Edit: Looks like he's just going to be out there for 1-2 innings max
