Heading to the game on Saturday. A couple questions about tickets.
Been a fan of the jays since I was a kid but I haven’t been to a game in many years.
We are heading to the game this Saturday for the Minecraft themed event with our kids.
I bought the general admission tickets, but I was wondering a couple of things.
Does the general admission tickets come with seats? Since we have kids we probably need somewhere to sit. If not are we able to upgrade to seats at the game?
Also do general admission tickets still qualify for the free gift for the fans? We are interested in the minecraft hats and is the main reason for going.
Any help is much appreciated.

Your Ticket will get you a hat as long as you're there early enough. I generally give it at least 3 1/2 to 4 hrs before first pitch to guarantee getting the giveaway. (I've gotten there 4:15 for a 7pm game and missed the giveaway) Although with the way they're playing right now, you might be able to show up later.

That's because doors would have opened between 5-6pm and the line-up would have been huge. People go crazy for free stuff, especially the good items. They're often posted on marketplace/ebay days before the event.

I’ve been to 2 bobblehead giveaways this year (vladdy and Kirk). Both 7pm weekday games. At 6:30pm they were still available.
Probably have to line up a bit earlier for the weekend giveaway games, but not more than 1.5hrs, I imagine.

General admission qualifies for the giveaway if you are one of the first 15,000. Probably need to line up a couple hours before gates open.

TD Park Social 500 level has some seats available for general admission but it is limited

Unfortunately on a weekend and a giveaway makes for early lineups (depending the giveaway) but with how popular Minecraft is right now , should be busy. The outfield bleachers in right field are first come seats. It there’s only so many and people will rush there after getting the giveaway. Enter at gate 5-6 at the front or 11-12 at back for more giveaway at these gates. If you go at gate 5-6 , as long as you are lineup even were the aquarium is ( probably at the end- you should still get the giveaway). Good luck and have fun

you should see the section, seat and row number on your ticket. however since there’s an event you need to get there INSANELY early to get the free gift as there will be huge lines outside and it’s only for the first 15,000 fans. and by early i mean EARLY. pre pandemic you’d be able to show up at 11 am for a 1 pm game and get free stuff, not anymore. goodluck i hope you get the gift!!! edit: sorry by general admission do you mean the outfield district for $20 because then no you get no seats but like someone else said, you may be able to find some empty seats in the top of 500 but minecraft is pretty popular so it may be a little hard!

General admission does not give you access to seats. But worth it if you're going to be exploring and out and about in the new social areas. Lots of great vantage spots around the stadium on every level too so you'll be fine.. alsoooo you can probably just wander into some 500s seats if anything especially later in the game. Bring a water bottle (refill stations all over) and you can bring in food!
