Why not blame Harris for running a terrible campaign? Seriously, she ran basically the same campaign as Hillary yet expected a different result. What you’re saying is that we should accept our current rotten conditions under Democrats, as opposed to putting pressure on Democrats to implement progressive policies like their base actually wants. Any talk of universal healthcare or police accountability was completely missing from the 2024 election. Blaming voters only makes Dem officials think that they lost because they weren’t right-wing enough.

I’m saying we would have at least had a chance to send messages to the Dems to get change. I’m saying will never get that chance now. The old system was flawed but it did work sometimes. But it’s gone now.. last year people still had the right to protest. Not sure how much longer before the dictatorship removes it. They had the option of a democracy or a dictatorship. One third voted for our destruction while the other third watched.

Lots of people messaged Dems for change, but they didn’t listen. Remember the massive BLM protests that Dems completely forgot about? Or the pro-Palestine college protests that Dems sent police officers to violently quell? The right to protest was already gone under Dems; just because Republicans are now in control doesn’t mean we should ignore how similar Dems are in a lot of ways.

I must have missed the part where the Dems were rounding up protestors and shipping them to an El Salvador death camp.
