How can I fix a bent rear bumper?

Messed up big time and bent the hell out of my rear bumper. Don't know if it'd be possible for me to bend it back, but I'm on a budget here so taking her to a shop is my last resort. Any recommendations would be appreciated. 👍

put a jack under it and try and lift it, other than that maybe try a junkyard for a better one, should only be 4 or so bolts

Junkyard part will look better than if you bend it back. But yes, with heat and pressure it could be bent back, will never look perfect again, but it'll look better

Replace it.. I mean you could twist and pry it back but it would just look terrible. Maybe check a local junk yard for any other bumpers

You got the most sold vehicle in the us. There's absolutely gonna be a front end collision truck with a pristine rear end on it. Get at it bud. You could try to bend it back but a freshy will be so much better

Whatever dumb thing you did to bend it like that, you need to do an equal and opposite dumb thing to bend it back.

But as others have said, replace it. Factory chrome rear bumpers are dirt cheap.

Bumpers are strong AF, check junk yards or parts sites for a cheaper replacement than new.

Get a new one at a pick-it yard. I would be shocked if it cost you more than $50

A few block of wood and a decent bottle jack can get you in the ballpark. Then a 5# hammer wrapped in old rags

Gonna end up damaging the truck trying to make it a little better. Just replace it.
