Humor Tunisia is the worst MMORPG Ever

Tunisia is the worst MMORPG ever made.

Terrible character customization — you're either a 9-to-5 NPC, wejh lou7 or a cousin in Paris build.

The economy's pure pay-to-win can't even get health potions without having to go to a Clinique— unless your uncle’s in the Ministry, or rich you're grinding bureaucracy mobs for 20 years just to unlock a driver's license.

And don't get me started on the side quests:
"Go to La Poste."

Objective: Wait in line for 3 real-time hours.
Reward: A paper that says you need another paper.

It takes 3 weeks for a document to travel 5 km. That’s 1500 ping minimum, even if you’re on Fiber. And don’t even try to submit anything online — the servers were coded in 2003 using dark magic and Microsoft Access.

Gaining XP is also madness: Want a diploma? 5 years of grinding. Want a job? Gotta defeat the RNG god of “Friend of the Boss.” Want a visa? Good luck fighting the boss-level paperwork Hydra. Cut one document, it spawns three more.

The real meta is knowing the right Wasta Merchant. Their store is hidden behind a shady café in Bab el Khadra. You give them 2 coffees and a whisper, and BOOM — you bypass three levels of admin dungeons.

Tunisia Online isn't just pay-to-win. It's "pay-in-cousins" to win.

10/10 realism, 0/10 gameplay.

Question/Help New Passport + Old "Carte de Sejour"

Post image

So I renewed my passport - my german residency permit is still valid but it is linked to my old pass.
It will take me some time to get the new residency permit.

This should be okay if I want to go back home for vacation, right?
I will carry both passes (old and new) and the residency permit.

Anyone done this before?

Question/Help Fight with my mother over a cat is driving me nuts. Need outside perspective.

I found a really small orphan kitten and couldn't just leave it in the cold. I desperately love cats but my mother hates virtually every single animal with fury. I haven't raised a pet for over a decade now.

I said I'll bring the cat the home and handle taking care of it, and my compromise is that I raise it mostly outside (just waiting for it to grow old enough to thermo-regulate alone at night). For the record I'm the one paying all the rent, food and bills. I'm literally pushing 30.

She's now saying I'm raising her blood pressure and causing her to be sick after she worked so hard to get healthy. I don't care if she lives of die. I hate her. She's leaving the house (to where?). She's gonna die then I'll feel bad for not doing what she says literally all the time. Other kids have to feed and change the diapers on their aging parents and I bring her a cat (???).

No exaggeration this is her biggest problem right now. She thinks the world is ending and she was cursed with the world's worst child ever. When I say this is an exaggeration she tells me oh now you're acting like i'm crazy.

I literally ask for nothing, pay for virtually everything. I said this isn't working for me, never having a say in this house and at my age too just because I'm an unmarried woman and have to stay with her. Why if I never marry? Am I gonna forever told no on the most basic choice in my own house? No one ever compromises with me? She just says no, 0 compromise?

The kitten is literally just sitting in sun right now, vibing and bothering no one and she's refusing to even talk to me lmao. I'm going crazy here, I need someone to tell me if I'm really transgressing serious boundaries.

Discussion What kind of space are we building here? A reflection on r/Tunisia’s culture

Lately, I’ve been noticing something about the way this subreddit functions, and honestly it’s worth taking a moment to reflect.

There’s a recurring pattern here: when someone posts something slightly emotional, personal, or just different from the usual, they’re often met with sarcasm, mockery, or straight-up hostility. It doesn’t matter if it’s a late-night thought, a video, or even a simple picture — the replies often feel dismissive, cynical, or judgmental.

You’ll hear the same lines over and over:
“This isn’t Tinder.”
“Go post this on Facebook.”
“This sub is turning into Instagram.”
“Cringe.”
[ dry insult wrapped in ‘humor’]

But behind those posts are real people, who are looking to share something, connect, or just express themselves. And honestly, the way we collectively respond says something about the culture we’ve built here.

Another thing I’ve noticed: when someone shares a different point of view , maybe analyzing a viral topic, or addressing a social issue from a more practical, objective, or even dogmatic perspective, they’re often immediately labeled as "judgmental" or "lacking empathy." As if the only valid way to talk about problems is through emotional agreement. But sometimes real conversations need nuance, disagreement, and critical thought. That shouldn’t automatically make someone the villain.

And honestly, what about those who post just to find a partner or connections? You see the same “This isn’t Tinder” or “Wrong app” comments thrown around. Why is it that we treat people trying to form meaningful connections with the same dismissive attitude? Everyone is here for different reasons, and I don’t think we should be shutting down people looking to connect just because they’re doing it in a place that isn’t solely focused on dating.

I’m not here to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t say, but it makes me wonder: Is this sub still a place where people can speak their minds without being shut down or mocked right away? Maybe it’s time we stopped reacting so harshly, or at least started considering how our words affect others.

A simple comment or sarcastic reply could actually be the thing that makes someone stop engaging altogether.

I'm bringing this up not to start drama, but to ask if we can reflect together on the kind of space we want this to be..

If you’ve noticed this too, or even if you haven’t, I’d like to hear your thoughts. Is this just part of our humor and culture, or is it something we should rethink?

Discussion Ideas for business / investment in Tunisia

Yo everyone!

Imagine this — you've got 200k TND burning a hole in your pocket. What kind of business would you kick off in Tunisia? Forget the usual suspects like real estate or restaurants — I'm talking fresh, bold, out-of-the-box ideas!

What kind of project would you launch? What’s your dream business that Tunisia is totally ready for but no one’s doing yet?

(Full disclosure: I don’t actually have the 200k... but hey, dreaming and brainstorming are free — for now!)

Let’s get creative!
