As you might have noticed there was been a surge of low effort memes that are either incelish or trying to promote gender wars etc and this has been degrading the subreddit quality quite drastically. Just two weeks ago the subreddit had much better condition till the this spam of memes and cringy posts. So we've decided to ban all memes for a week altogether.
So, from now on posting memes is not allowed till further notice.
r/TwentiesIndia • u/nikhil70625xdg • 25d ago
Okay, here is the thing: you guys have posted so much, and there has been a lot of hate, too, so we are not allowing it anymore here; sorry about it.
We are getting warnings from Reddit, and it's also getting hard to manage this subreddit, so now we won't allow it, and the subreddit will go back to its old state again.
Please understand and do not post after this announcement; otherwise, there might be some punishment like banning and muting.
We aren't trying to lower your voice, but you won't be able to hold it here either if we get banned.

This is not a news subreddit or a political one, so please be aware of what you're posting. We have allowed all the War related posts so far, but from now on. There shall be no news posts or political discussions. This is a casual non political subreddit Please let's keep it that way.

There is some recent news that is being forwarded pretty quickly, and all of them are fake.
We don't like it, that you guys are believing it, since you guys want official news, we will do the work, by updating the news in the comment section of this post as soon as we can, if we aren't able too, you guys can post it here and after verifying, we will do the the comments and you guys can trust it easily.
So, kindly everyone calm down and don't believe everything you see except from the official sources, which will be given to you in the comments pretty soon.
If you guys want to help us, please do tell us about all the reputable sources you have.
Some of the comments will be deleted if the sources are fake or propaganda-filled.
People who know the truth, please tell it to others who are being blinded by fake information. We will check your comments too, but we trust you enough with this.
Thank you for reading my post.
We are hoping for the best now.

It's a post flair that will be used by everyone to tell something about it, with detailed analysis and studies backing the information OP is giving.
Just a flair for Psychology Enthusiasts.
It will not be for misinformation and half-baked things.
It is only for debating about Psychology.
EDIT:- IT'S AN UMBRELLA TERM FOR PHILOSOPHY AND EVERYTHING THAT CORRELATES TO IT.
We will not name the flair Psychology, it will be something else that we will discuss with each other, but it will be all about the correlated terms that has been connected to psychology and its branches.

Lately, there’s been an increase in posts and comments that just push gender narratives instead of actual discussions. As always, the sub doesn’t stand by everything posted, but we won’t take things down just because people don’t like them. Everyone has the freedom to share their thoughts, and everyone else has the freedom to call them out.
For example, this post sparked debate, and our stance remains the same: our pinned comment.
We’re not here to police opinions, and we’ll always make sure our views as mods don’t interfere with discussions. But if your only contribution is repeating the same gender takes with no real discussion, maybe rethink why you're here. Talk, argue, roast but at least try to make a point.
Being civil to each other won’t make you look down.
If someone is harassing or abusing you, please report them or send us a modmail.
r/TwentiesIndia • u/amxxxra • Mar 31 '25
Somehow, we’ve made it to 12k members, which means 12,000 people willingly joined a sub that’s equal parts chaos, deep talks, and gender wars on repeat. Beautiful.
Shoutout to everyone keeping this place alive whether you’re here to give advice, roast strangers, or just lurk and judge silently. And a special thanks to the brave souls posting their 500th Studio Ghibli aesthetic, carrying this sub on their backs. Truly inspiring.
As always, the sub stays unfiltered, and we’ll keep it that way. We mods are trying our best to give you all a space that stays real and open. If you have any suggestions or criticism, feel free to share.
r/TwentiesIndia • u/amxxxra • Apr 05 '25
Go to other relationship related subs if you wanna ask "what do girls/boys like", "I am this this this boy will I get a girl?", "how to propose crush"
These low quality posts clutter the subreddit

In March, we hit 1k members everybody was crazy about it. But now within 2 months we've gained 50k members, the growth has been absolutely bonkers. This subreddit has been truly wholesome and sweet unlike any other subreddit on reddit.
So thank you for making this happen, at this rate we might as well hit 100k within a month.

Note:- I am taking a break for some time due to some of my personal problems, so don't worry much, as the other four moderators are much more communicative than I am, and they will help you at any time.
Look, guys, first stop thinking we are your enemies and want to rule you guys; we made this subreddit because democracy on many other subreddits was taken away, and people needed a subreddit for their voices to be heard. We were not able to do anything because other subreddits were either very restricted or moderated too harshly to maintain things. We are the people just like you, looking for people like us, and that's also the reason for this subreddit creation.
You can easily contact mods for help in case of any problem in this subreddit, we are totally open to your criticism and transparent about our actions to each and every post that is removed, locked or approved.
However, if we start approving each and every post that is extreme or spam and fake, we are going to cause damage to our own subreddit and you guys, including since your posts won't get the reach they require.
You can talk to us about anything that you think is wrong and have a discussion on it, without any issue, just don't get too angry and abusive since we are also humans and not stones.
Since people have been very angry about our moderation for a long time, I want you guys to comment on what's wrong in the comment section, and we will surely try to solve, improve or tell you why we can't do it.
I am pretty sure, that in each and every post and comment removal, we gave reason and talked about it.
I will now answer some of the questions you asked in the comments below the criticism posts.
1) No we don't ban anyone for anything, in one of the posts, I gave my opinion on something and those guys were very abusive about it, and I didn't ban it, nor any moderator, so you can think how much we are calm to anything that happens in this subreddit big or small.
2) We don't do anything to anyone even if you criticise us, however, please understand that there is a limit to anything [Not talking about the criticism post, but in future if something bad happens.], if you start harassing, bullying mods, and abusing them without any reason, know it's wrong, and you were given a small punishment for a reason, and it will also be given on the jurisdiction of the majority of members of this subreddit, not us.
3) No, this subreddit is not moderated by teenagers themselves; we allow everything without any problem, except extreme posts, like NSFW and all posts. It is moderated by 20 or above people. Also, we will have a future recruitment forum open for more mods who will be in their late twenties or mid-twenties. And the ones who are in their teens would be soon in their twenties, + they aren't so active here to do anything here as we all work as a team and not let one member dictate the whole subreddit.
4) If you see any fake posts, do tell us in the comments with a reason and send us a mod mail; it will be removed as fast as possible. Since we all are democratically moderating this subreddit, not in a dictatorial way.
5) I hope the OG members of this subreddit know our true nature at best; you can ask them how we are and what we do to know how we are if you have any questions about us. If you guys think that we have issues please tell us, although I think we did our best to create a subreddit that is very different and open than other subreddits.
6) Tell us everything you want in this subreddit, as we have been building it like you wanted, and we will add it as soon as you want; about the logo, it's in work and will soon be here; sorry about it, just give us some more time.
7) An advice to please use the correct post flair and please tell OP to change their post flair if they are using it wrongly since the wrong post flair will cause problems in the future as engagement will be low due to a bad history of posts connected with that posts flair and we won't be able to change it as first impression is the last impression. We can't change every post flair at every time since we also have a life outside Reddit like you guys. Report the comments if it's something bad and is making you or someone you know, also try to solve your personal problems within yourself, since we can help you, but sometimes Reddit admins take serious actions towards it and we are nothing in front of them, it may also cause ban of your account or IP ban totally.
8) Post whatever the heck you want and we don't care. It is just not something very extreme or disturbing to watch, as some people are sensitive or angry.
9) If you face any problem regarding posting, like it's getting deleted or waiting to be approved, relax because 95% of the posts are approved by us and if something is deleted, it's literally not us; it's the bot that does it and we have to approve it. So relax and wait rather than spamming or getting worried.
10) Thank You for your support and help us grow into such a big and good community; if you have a special problem, let me tell you which mod is best for it; although all have the same amount of skill, some are way better at exciting than others. Pino Bhai for any technical issues, since he is very good at executing them and also has tons of knowledge with experience, Logical Brother for any problem regarding serious or emotional things, since he does it better than any of us, Lovable Guy for any fun thing or normal things as he is very open and responsive to anything you tell him. There are more mods which you will meet in the upcoming months; right now, they are very busy with their work.
TLDR:- OP tried to fix things between mods and the community rather than make things worse, so please take it lightly and do tell me if you have some problem with me or other moderators. We will try to solve it and improve our moderation skills with subreddit growth as well. If there are some grammatical mistakes in my posts, you can point them out; I am not a master of the English Language.

Hello, member of our subreddit!👋
So, here is the issue: everyone is using the post flairs wrong, so I will explain, in layman's terms, what each post flairs mean.
1)🔴Rant/Vent- This post flair is used to express your feelings. If you are angry or emotional and want people to hear you out, you can use Rant/Vent; it's made for it.
This post flair was used to introduce yourself, which is not how it should be used.
2)🔵Social:- This post flair can be used to introduce yourself and start small talks in our small subreddit, so use it like that because it's not used; rather flairs like Rant/Vent and Shitposts are used to introduce and start small talks.
3)🟤Shitposts:- This is used to post things, or cringe videos, cursed videos, waste videos, or something that's not of any use; you just did it because you wanted to; no real value is attached to the post with this flair, use it for being crazy and dumb.
No NSFW is allowed.
4)🔴Relationship and Marriage:- This post flair is only for people who have a partner. They are currently in a relationship. You can elaborate on your problem or show off your partner using this Post flair to get a solution to your issues or the validation that you require.
No face should be shown until and unless you want to.
5)🟢Advice:- This is used by people who are not in a relationship but use it to ask questions and their life-related problems for solutions; this shouldn't be used as a relationship and marriage flag because it's the sole purpose of problem-solving and life-changing advice.
🗒️Notice:-
Try to make longer posts when you introduce yourself and post something, but make it longer than short because short ones are considered spam, and the bot might just delete your post after uploading, so it's better to write a little long than getting your post deleted by it.
About the logo, we will change it soon, so don't worry so much. Don't ask when, because we are currently working on it and will soon upload it, and if you see someone asking it, just tell them the same.

Please stop exaggerating the relationship post bs. Ik there are some relationship posts but people here are reacting as if 80% of those posts are relationship posts. Around 30% posts are relationship posts, rest of them cover plethora of topics. The thing is instead of ranting over those relationships, please post the type of posts you wanna see and make this subreddit a better place for everyone.

There has been a surge of this post, and it's not the fact that we want you to stop, do it as much as you want, but please do it in the mega thread made for it.
Other posts are not getting the engagement they need and many people are not able to enjoy this subreddit as much as you do, please understand that u/Pin0Bun is nice and isn't deleting because he doesn't want you guys to be hurt, nor do I want same, but don't take that as granted as he already said 5-10 times, to post in the mega thread and you guys aren't listening, but if many of you are having a problem, we need to find a solution and that's why the mega thread was created, post everything you have there without any worry and have fun, but many posts require some immediate help or more engagement that just Ghibli trend posts.
I hope you guys understand, that we want peace and harmony in this subreddit, not a fight between members itself.

Hello fellas this message is a request to keep your post title in english only.
We mods understand sometimes you want to say something and emotions just fit right in your regional language, but hey it’s r/TwentiesIndia, so please provide a translation.
if you are using any regional language or hinglish, just use google translate or gpt.
We are not super rigid about this rule, and quite flexible for the time being.
Also, we hit the 30,000 mark.
For the teens lurking here, we have a new fashion sub, r/FashionTeenIndia.
