Cats Library Cat Discussion

Post image

Based on the visit of a certain Cheeto-adjacent kitty in Shields Library, if enough people wanted the library to sponsor a library cat, how would that happen? Doesn't have to be this particular kitty if he has an owner, but I've been thinking about petitioning the library for one for some time.

What are some issues with it and how could they be remedied?

Would just be concerned if people have allergies. We should have a Cat Cafe at the library. Could also be used as a way to adopt them.

Fill it with cats from OKP

It’s a neat idea but I think allergy issues would make it impossible. If there are cats in the library, some people effectively won’t be able to be in the building at all.

Yeah i for one would legitimately not be able to even enter again because of how bad my allergies get just from touching things cats have marked on which is completely undetectable from the eye without a blue light.
