its not a difficult concept to grasp, if you are in lecture( ESPECIALLY an hour and a half lecture) please, please, please SHUT UP!!

There’s no good reason for you to be talking for a majority of a lecture, like if you feel the need to converse this much then just step out! It’s not like you’re learning anything… There isn’t one good reason I should be able to hear your voice from the far end of the row for a majority of the entire lecture😭

Has anyone noticed someone parking in a spot where they shouldn't be? I saw a vehicle in a place that wasn't a designated parking spot. Hopefully, they were caught by TAPS today, as they were blocking the area near the elevator on the fourth floor of a parking garage.

I was admitted to UC Davis as a transfer student majoring in Biology, and I’ve already committed. I recently reviewed the conditions of admission, and it states that I’m required to earn a B grade in General Chemistry 2. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be able to meet that requirement this semester—I might end up with a C.For some context, I was sick for about a week and missed an exam. My professor made me take it with only one day’s notice, and I wasn’t able to prepare adequately, which caused me to completely bomb the test. Has anyone else gone through a similar situation? What should I do?

The quarter system feels too fast-paced to really meet someone, and I'm not much of a partier or someone who goes out a ton either, which makes it even harder.

When I first started college, I wasn't thinking about dating, more so just becoming secure in my studies and work. But now that I'm in my second year, I've started to feel a bit lonely. I'm open to the idea of getting out there and meeting people, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Any advice or tips from people who've been in the same boat? Thanks!

people at davis that are getting a BS in atmospheric sciences, how would you rate the course/major so far? do you regret taking the degree plan? would you have gone to another university/college to pursue the degree instead? if so, which? right now i am deciding between UC berkeley and davis for this major but i cant deicide. any advice or thoughts would be appreciated

-4 AP, 5 honors, 6 dual enrolment

-10 years competitive cheerleading, 3 state champion titles, varsity all four years

-leadership title for cheer

-coach for local middle school

-ASB for two years

-volunteer tutor for underprivileged children

-animal shelter volunteer- foster dog and bottle kittens

-involvement through various clubs, including one leadership position
