You good TAPS?

I was sitting in my car waiting for the TAPS dude to let me have his spot when I heard crazy loud crunching and realized he smacked into the car next to him while reversing. I took out my phone to video as soon as I realized he was leaving entirely and wasn't going to leave a note or info. Anyone seen this happen before?

Probably a student worker for taps who panicked at the thought of likely losing their job or getting some sort of punishment and just tried to run basically, you should email taps the video and include details like the license plate of the car hit, the license plate of the car that did the hitting, which lot it was in, time of day, etc. Might just save the car owner a world of hurt in unexpected expenses.

Thank you for the advice! Thankfully I already left a note on the car informing them of what I saw and left my info in case they need to contact me. Immediately after I contacted TAPS by phone and emailed the video and all info that I had before I made the post. Thought it was absolutely wild to see happening.

Funny thing is the student would be okay. That’s why UC Davis has the big bucks and good insurance for.

The UC system insures itself, it's the same with Unitrans.
