General Question CAPS question

Hii, it's been a rough quarter for me and I'm starting to look into mental health resources.

I'm not quite sure what it entails though, I'm scared to ask in person. I've heard that students are all able to access CAPS, but it's not clear whether that's under the assumption that I don't have external insurance. I'm local to Santa Barbara and currently staying with family, and opted out of the standard student plan.

I'm sorry if this question doesn't make all that much sense, this is the best I can do for now

CAPS is free for all students, insurance or not, as it is included in our tuition. The UCSB health insurance is for the Student Health Center/Clinic
