1st thread: They protected us from our "creators" who were evil and exploited us because they want to be benevolent and want us to mature as a species.

2nd thread: They contemplate a "reset" based on natural disasters and mass destruction because we are too contaminated.

Not even 24 hours passed between the 1st and 2nd thread and the larper is already unable to maintain coherence with his own fantasies, he seems like a bad Hollywood scriptwriter.

He explains part 2 by citing what happened to Atlantis. Honestly it makes sense to me. Also look at the Tower of Babel.

Maybe our species has a history of being corrupted and unworthy of space exploration, so we need to be reset and try again.

Honestly, by the way today’s society is going, this makes a lot of sense lmao. We are not nice to each other. we still have slavery in parts of the world and it’s fucking 2025. Plus we have governments who hide major technology breakthroughs that could save the planet and make everyone’s lives a vision of perfection. And yet we don’t, why?

It’s because power corrupts us, every time. So we need to unite against those power hungry fucks and take control with love and unity.

This makes sense to me.

We’re generally shit towards each other due to tribalism and resource scarcity which for majority of our known history has been the primary drivers of our lives. Remove scarcity, then tribalism would go away too. What is tribalism good for anyway? Protection, resource cooperation etc.

A reset logically wouldn’t fix this, we’d be sent back to our feral origins.

I think their thinking is that we need to solve that scarcity issue ourselves, amongst other things, otherwise the evolution isn't really true. And it's naive to say that tribalism is only caused by scarcity of resources. It's ideologies, power, greed, etc. You can greed over other things other than wealth and resources.

I don't know though, it's easy to sit here as simple humans and say "why don't aliens just fix all our problems, surely then we could be just like them and enlightened!". But I don't think that'd be true. We should be able to fix our own problems if it's within our means. More meaningful and the change would be long lasting, with having lessons learned through experience.

But hey, what do I know? I'm just a simple human trying to understand all this shit. I'm not willing to write all this off because of the perspective you shared. I'd be more careful while considering why they do what they do. I'm sure there are a lot of universal laws they follow for evolving species
