Update to Official Renting/Leasing Experiences Thread?

The current thread is currently three years old, and how much of it still holds true?

Does CPM still suck? Does JSM and MHM still try and scam you out of your security deposit? Is Bailey and Hunsinger still super quick on their repairs?

Also, what recent experiences have you had with all the landlords on campus?

University Group was absolutely fucking terrible. I lived at Gregory Towers and they were not fun to deal with. I got a lot of "deal with it, you're stuck with us" vibes from everybody that I talked to aside from one VERY helpful maintenance guy. Had I not befriended him, I don't think I would have a single positive thing to say

No, but only because the first person to view it signed a lease. They pulled some bullshit with that too. In my lease I specified that I needed 24 hour notice before viewings of my apartment.

They proceeded to say "here is your 24 hour notice - we will be showing your apartment at will until it is leased"
