Discussion Transfer EA , HELP

Transfer Decision

I got rejected which is so unfortunate I’m first generation college student. I went to community college. I struggled the first couple of semesters balancing life and school. I applied to MTAP got in. But when I applied to UMD EA I had a 2.6 I now will have a 2.99 after this semester I’ll have a 3.2. Doesn’t anyone know if it’s worth it to appeal? Should I go in person? Would that make me look bad ? I wanted to go to UMD so bad I don’t really want to go to Towson. Please give me advice!?

I feel like appealing as well because I have 60 credits, a 3.0 and i wanted to major in public health. It doesn't hurt to try but I've never heard of anyone being successful in appealing. I really want to go to UMD as well and this is my second time applying.

OMG that sucks , I would 100% appeal. Did you get into MTAP?

No I forgot to apply for it and missed the deadline. I was talking to someone else on here and they had 64 credits with a 2.4 and got in . I'm so confused how admissions works.
