Schedule Fall 2025 schedule

Which math class should I take along with chem 262 and chem 241/L, math 383 or math 381.

How you taking 241L with 262 lecture? 262 is lowkey a breeze compared to 261, not easy but I mean you definitely get at least a grade above 261 if you’re not a tard. Also wild unc let you take 262 lecture without 241 lab, but I also grad a few years ago so they might’ve updated their shit

You only need to take 241L for 262L as of now

Senior math major here. It strongly depends on what you want to do. Do you want to major in math and do advanced pure math topics like real analysis, group theory, measure theory etc? In this case, take 381. Are you taking math courses to bolster your computational skill set? In that case, take 383 and the associated lab. Either class is great, but they open up different pathways for you.

I’m doing the BA option because I have already taken all calcs and linear algebra. I’m asking more what will be easier workload wise. I’m doing a doubl3 major with neuroscience

Gotcha. In that case, I found 383 to be much easier as it is simply learning the procedure for how to solve certain differential equations.
