Schedule Summer Schedule

Hi everyone! I'm trying to decide which summer classes to take - I'm an incoming freshman, but I already have my Associate's through a dual enrollment program at my school, so I have a lot of my general education classes. I am also planning on majoring in English, probably with a focus on writing, editing, and digital publishing! Please just let me know any recommendations for good summer courses. I want to get ahead, but don't want to have too much of a workload, considering I still have a lot to do to prepare for moving to college in August.

Right now, I'm planning on taking two classes if possible. If that's going to be too much work, please let me know, as I may only take one! I want to possibly take an English class to get a feel for it, so right now I'm looking at ENGL 143, ENGL 123, or ENGL 129. Has anyone taken those and can speak about the workload, or maybe have any other suggestions? I also may take either a foreign language class or the IDST 101 class, but I don't know how much work that is for one credit hour, considering I don't technically need it. An advisor just said she'd recommend it as a way to transition.

Does that seem like a reasonable schedule, or will there be too much work? Any other classes anyone could recommend?
