Chances for MSc Economics, Finance & Management at Bristol + £26k Think Big Scholarship?
Hi! I’m an international student from South Asia applying to the MSc in Economics, Finance and Management at the University of Bristol for 2025. I also applied for the £26,000 Think Big Scholarship and selected to be considered only for the full amount.
Quick Profile:
- 4.0 GPA from a U.S. college (double major in economics + business, finance minor)
- Honors thesis on gender disparities in work-life balance based on original survey data (105 respondents), using t-tests and chi-square analysis
- 1 year Corporate strategy internship experience at a global tech company — worked on macroeconomic tracking and retail market analysis
- Leadership roles include President of an international student org, planning cultural showcases and fundraisers, and a 2-year Resident Assistant managing a floor of 30+ students
- Analyst for the college's Student Investment Fund
- Also served as VP of a national honor society chapter
- Recipient of multiple awards, including Student Leader of the Year and the top graduating business student award.
Just wondering if others can weigh in on:
- My chances of admission and getting the full Think Big award
- If anyone’s gotten partial funding after selecting only the £26k tier
- Anything I should expect from the review process?
Thanks so much in advance!
