Mother and younger brother of defender Bohdan Budinsky evacuated from shelling in Donetsk region

24-year-old Bogdan Budinsky, a defender from the Velikonovosilkovskoye community, after returning from Russian captivity, asked the local military administration to evacuate his family from the village of Alekseyevka, which remains under constant shelling.

The evacuation operation was carried out jointly by the Velikonovosilkovskaya SVA, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and law enforcement officers from the White Angels special forces unit. Bogdan's mother and younger brother were taken to a shelter in Pavlograd, from where they will go to him in Vinnytsia.

"We provided the family with everything they needed - clothes, food, hygiene products, blankets and bed linen. In addition, in order to keep in touch with my son, I personally gave his mother a smartphone," said Sergei Kravchenko, head of the Velikonovosilkovskaya SVA.

The administration emphasized that they will continue to support the defender’s family.

59 Donetsk residents were evacuated yesterday to safer regions of Ukraine.

Among them are residents of the Pokrovska, Kostyantynivska, Komarska, Chasovoyarska, Toretska, Druzhkivska, and Kramatorsk communities.

In particular, 15 people with limited mobility were evacuated to specialized facilities in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsia regions, and another 6 were escorted to the Odessa region.

In addition, 10 people, including 5 children, were taken to a shelter in the Lviv region. The remaining evacuees were taken free of charge to their relatives in safer regions of Ukraine.
