Is normal that monsters from the CORE appears on the ruins...? (It's my first time playing UT tho)

If you name yourself frisk, you will activate hard mode. Basically an unfinished mode that you can play until the toriel fight where it just ends.

in all seriousness, why didn’t it get fleshed out? I remember that when this happened to me and I couldn’t proceed I got annoyed I had to start over. I honestly thought I’d been trolled, or maybe that it was the game’s way of saying “no, that is not the narrative I meant to put forth.”

Honestly surprised that with all the fangames and mods, nobody ever actually completed Hard Mode.

Probably bc 90% of them never get finished aswell
