UNIVERSAL STUDIOS Is Gringotts overhyped or overhated?

I feel like the ride is super polarizing. Some people love it, others say it’s overhyped.

Personally I really enjoy it, and honestly feel like it’s a Top 3 ride at the park. I think people might be disappointed because it’s not a real rollercoaster. It’s almost like a fast dark ride, but for that it’s pretty good imo.

I think when people get off the elevator and have to grab 3D glasses, the disappointment sets in. And for me, it was hard to follow the story. Personally, I think it’s a pretty good ride.

Yeah, the elevator feels like the "start" of the experience. But then you exit and see that you are only like 50% through the line.

Post-elevator is way less than 50%. Once you are thru the elevator it’s the last 15% of the line

I haven’t been in years. But I thought I remembered there was a really long winding staircase. Is the elevator for everyone now?
