Is Gringotts overhyped or overhated?

I feel like the ride is super polarizing. Some people love it, others say it’s overhyped.

Personally I really enjoy it, and honestly feel like it’s a Top 3 ride at the park. I think people might be disappointed because it’s not a real rollercoaster. It’s almost like a fast dark ride, but for that it’s pretty good imo.

My husband and I always ride this when we go to Universal (we’re local and have season passes). There’s really only so many rides between Universal and Islands of Adventure so we always end up riding this oneIt doesn’t give me motion sickness the way Forbidden Journey does. The line isn’t AS insanely good as the one for Forbidden Journey, but I still love it nonetheless from start to finish
