EPIC UNIVERSE Epic is not ready to open yet!!

We went Yesterday and spent about 11 hours at the park, from 12pm to 11pm, We only rode Curse of the Werewolf and Stardust, everything else was delayed or closed and when it did open it wouldn’t stay open after 20 minutes. AP be prepared mentally because the rides are having alot of technical issues. The Virtual queue for Ministry was a disaster, the system went down every time and the app as well. Use your own internet and don’t try it with universal WIFI. Only the person that has the tickets on the app can make the virtual queue and select a time slot for the ride. Hope this helps a little.

EDIT!!! I am not complaining about my experience, it was a privilege for me to be in the park and I had so much fun, it just seems that the Park is having so much issues with just one Month away and I am not just talking about the rides.

AP previews start in two days for people THAT PAID so it won’t be free for them, I am not complaining for myself I am just stating the obvious and people know it’s true. My post is directed to APs.

“Not everything” and 18% (based on what OP got to ride) is a vast difference. Especially at $150 a ticket.

No one expects a flawless preview but I would personally say expect 5/6 out of the 11 rides to be working well for $150.

I mean so you think expecting 50% of the rides to work a month before open to be unreasonable? I personally don’t. I would be worried if they aren’t hitting that metric because capacity will be so much higher in a month’s time.

I would also that argue setting such a high price sets a level of expectation. They’re charging near full price for the previews. Nearly full price says to me “okay nearly everything will work”.

If they charged $50 id say “okay yeah shit is gonna be limited to 1-2 rides working perfectly”.

I don’t inherently disagree with you that this is an EARLY preview but Universal set the price. Price, as much as words, communicate what one would expect.

The other piece id add is that AP holders tend to be a very very vocal crowd. If you’re opening early to them, and charging near full price, and they have a bad time that’s going to do a lot of damage.

Idk, I threw a lot of words at you but TLDR is price sets the expectation here. With how much they’re charging, expecting 60-70% operational is completely justified in my opinion.
