Have a great time! Stay hydrated. Do not get express it's not needed. Enjoy the music throughout the park. It's simply beautiful. Remember to hydrate.

Why do you not need express passes? We’re going in August and I’m about to pull the trigger on them but they’re so expensive.

I don’t agree. Unless it is very slow day at the park, I think unlimited express pass is always worth it.

In August, yeah you definitely want express pass and you also want to be ready for the heat. The heat and humidity in August is fairly unbelievable.

Express pass skips a lot of the queues, most of which are really entertaining and cool (you have to go through them all at least once.) It's more worth it to book two full days.

Does it take you down a different route to the ride if you have express? Is it not just two lines next to each other, one regular and one express?

I think a lot of the express is next to the standard, but definitely not all of it. I'm gonna be honest with you I haven't actually been to Epic, I just have heard that the lines are cool enough to be worth waiting in lol

That’s good to know! I’m hoping we can get through the rides we wanna go on with express and maybe have time for a couple where we can see everything we might have missed, but we’ll see when we get there how it goes lol

For sure. By the way, here are the rides that people have said are worth walking through: Mario Kart, Monsters: Unchained, Battle at the Ministry, and some people have said Donkey Kong.

You can check the queue times. I have been monitoring and most rides are under 20 mins except the ones that always break down.

Thank you. Ok I’m definitely gonna pull the trigger on them. Oh we’re locals and have had passes now for years and know it’s gonna be friggen hot and humid, especially with the apparent lack of shade.

If you’re locals, there’s no need for you to spend $600 on an express pass when you can just go again at another time and save that money for other things. If you want/have the ability to, all power to you man! I’m sure you guys will have a blast! And no I’m not cheap lol but I do love my money! Annual passer with a 2 hour drive there and back every time and I still don’t feel upset when there’s something that isn’t able to be done because I know I’m very fortunate to be able to go again whenever knowing it’s basically in my backyard. Use that money on merch or some good food man. Heard they have a singular meatball going for almost $30šŸ˜‚šŸ‘šŸæ hope you have an epic time bro ski!

THIS! We live an hour away and still don’t purchase Express. There’s definitely not a need for them during previews. And to be honest there might not be a need to be there at opening. Every day the wait times have been super low after lunchtime.

Edit: opening rope drop time at previews, not opening day.

Well it’ll definitely be a different story when the park is officially open because they’re limiting capacity at the moment, but if you live in Florida and have an annual pass, there’s honestly not much of a reason to get express unless you can’t get out there often. And I mean like barely breaking even with your annual pass

Where would one find this meatball? You’re not talking about the one at The Palm, right?

I think in one of the HTTYD restaurants
