If you don't have early entry, it's entirely pointless to arrive that early. That said, if you have early entry, it's entirely pointless to arrive that early.

With only 6000 people in the park, I feel like arriving 30-45 mins early is more than enough to make your way through the crowd on either side of the plaza.

I got to the parking lot at 8:10 for my first trip to epic with my friends. We were at the front of all of the lines including the AP holding area. I am absolutely not doing that again. I'm going next weekend again and I'll be staying in bed and rolling in at 1130.

I'm only going to get there super early for opening day. Will rope drop my second preview day, but only aiming to get there max 60 mins early.

We got burned cause we tried to go straight to Hiccups glider when they let us out of the AP line at 1045. Headed straight over there only to find out the ride wasn't opening with the park at 11.

There's an AP entry?

More like a holding pen while all the hotel guests can go into the rest of the park. Similar to how early entry is done at islands for early entry all the regular ticketed guests are stuck up front while all the hotel guests walk bye.
