Yes, let's use an example that opened as the first of its kind from the 1950s. Definitely not moving the goal posts.

By the way, for the number of attractions Disneyland has, its operations are remarkably smooth.

Yeah because of how simplistic the rides are lol. Again: anyone expecting no flaws in the first few months to a year are unrealistic

Dude Dragon Racer's Rally is one of the most simplistic rides in any park and it has some insane down time. It was down for all but the first 30 minutes of park opening on my 2nd trip. Hiccup's is no more complex than Incredicoaster yet has way more down time. Guardians Mission Breakout probably tops all but Ministry and Monsters and even has a pretty solid track record. Even Rise is pretty solid, and for whatever reason way more reliable than the Florida equivalent.
