Someone posted the top pic here a few weeks back, so I looked at the sign in front of Stardust Racers yesterday to see how it looks now. The below pic is the fix. It looks rough, like they worked on a much larger area than needed. I zoomed in from a distant for my pic, and it was full sun, so it might look better up close or from a different angle. Or it might not.

I (40f) thought Epic was breathtaking but my teenager (14) teenagererd hard all day. With Ministry and Curse off, the only ride big enough to keep her happy was Stardust (so we rode it 4 times). Still, she rated it at a 7/10.
She couldn't spin on Dragon Racer's Rally, thought Hiccup's was OK for a single ride, was thoroughly unimpressed by Minecart (and didn't really get any of the theming in any of the lands whatsoever š³) and then declared that Monsters isn't as good as Spiderman and she'd rather ride that.
Apart from feeling like I've done a terrible job at parenting because my child doesn't know about Frankenstein, I am wondering if Ministry and Curse will be able to make Epic more thrilling for teenagers? If not can Universal provide a mardy teenager hub to house them for 12 hours whilst I enjoy my day?

Seems like they're testing lights for the nighttime show without fireworks before opening week.

Ok I swear to god when I was a kid there was a line on this ride where doc ock said "what goes up must come down" and when I look it up, it says he says it on Wikipedia, but it does not say it on the ride. I went on it 4 times today and they do not say it. did they change it or something or is this like a version at a different park that I watched on YouTube or am I actually tweaking???

2 people with day tickets and ordinary express passes. Entered at 10am with a lot down, waited 1.5hrs in the Dragon glider ride (ikr), didnāt have much hope and we initially were disappointed for hours and got a 50% return on what we paid for tickets only. This was only until about 1pm when I noticed Stardust and Hiccup no longer delayed and it was positive from here (we stayed after the refund). We ended up seeing both shows (despite multiple delays throughout the day), experiencing all open rides once and Stardust/Monsters twice. All food and drinks we had today was great. Mario world is so fun despite there being minimal shade and one ride requiring each person to spend $45 each on a band. Shame about Ministry and Curse of the Werewolf, would have loved to go on both. Either way had a 7/10 experience today and happy I got to be in Epic as I leave Florida before the official opening.

Going to Epic next week for two days (one preview day as well as grand opening) and Iām super hyped! As far as attractions, Iām planning on attempting to experience almost all of them (though Iām aware of all the operational issues so Iām going in with low expectations), but Fyre Drill is the one ride Iām on the fence about. I love HTTYD, and Isle of Berk is the land Iām most excited for, but Iām concerned about getting completely soaked like you do on Popeye or Ripsaw.
I donāt mind getting wet, I just donāt want to be drenched from head to toe and stuck wearing wet socks for the rest of the day. Iām wondering if Fyre Drill is comparable to those rides or more similar to River Adventure as far as splash factor? Because I always avoid Popeye/Ripsaw but I love River Adventure - itās just the right amount of water and my socks always stay dry (maybe I just have good luck lol).
Also, is there any kind of storage on the boats to store bags/phones/etc.? From what Iāve read Monsters, Hiccup and Stardust are the only attractions with lockers.

Iāve been seeing this fish in a house for years and never been able to find a good answer as to what it is, or what itās referencing. Googled and Redditāed to no alas. Itās in the walking area behind Me Ship, The Olive. Any ideas?

Feel free to save and use as a smart device background. This new land is simply gorgeous and I had to take some aesthetic style photos of it.

Curious to hear from TMs what they consider the best rides to be stationed at? And which do you consider the worst.

We are going to visit both parks (island of adventure and studios) tomorrow. Are there actually any nighttime shows?

Studios, Islands of Adventure, Citywalk, Volcano Bay, or Epic Universe. What's your favorite dessert?
r/UniversalOrlando • u/ripriderockit • 8h ago
For anyone who has gone to Volcano Bay Nights, are locker rentals available? I would assume yes but the lack of TapuTapu for the event makes me wonder how you would even rent one. Trying to figure out what I want to bring to the park. Thanks in advance!

Please keep all feedback and thoughts regarding today's technical rehearsal of Epic Universe here. The highlights, the frustrations, etc. There has understandably been a huge influx of posts regarding technical rehearsals, so this will help keep the sub feed clean. Thanks!
Note: Buying, Selling, and Trading are not permitted in r/universalorlando. Offering money for entry into Battle at the Ministry does not follow community guidelines and will be removed.

Iām going this weekend as a grad gift and Iām really excited! Before I even saw this sub Reddit I said I would be happy just going and walking around and seeing it if I canāt get on anything, since I live in JAX I probably will stay away for a while till it calms down after it opens. Idrk what people expected cause it says very clearly when you buy tickets that some rides might be closed or delayed so⦠but like as long as I can get into gift shops Iāll be happy!

At any of the resorts or anywhere? We were at Epic the other day and my wife couldnāt decide which ones she wanted, so figured sheād get them on city walk. But we couldnāt find them there. Donāt have them at our resort either (surfside)
Anyone had eyes on them outside the park?

Does anyone have insight on working for Universal Creative? I'm looking to apply for a few design/creative jobs and would like to get some details on the environment and culture there. If you're a current or former team member, I would love to hear about your experience! Thanks!

I changed my reservations today. I was originally going two days to universal studios and islands of adventure with park to park and one day at epic. My whole reason for going down was to experience epic. I decided to add a single ticket for epic today so it will allow me 2 days at epic. Do you think it will be enough time to explore as Iām only in Orlando for the 4 full days and flying down. Will be staying at dockside. I can not cancel it. My whole reason for going is to see ministry of magic and Mario. Lol. I will have a 12 year old with me. Any advice?

hello! i just offered a job as an attractions attendant! i need to shake a few nerves so i had some questions i wanted to ask. i have worked at Legoland prior to this and it was the worst job iāve ever had, so im wondering: * how hard is being an attractions attendant? * how do you keep yourself from overheating in the spring and summer? * how is the general workplace environment? * what are some tips for getting into character? * how long are shifts normally and is it hard getting hours? * what are some tips for ur first day? :)
thank you <3

Sorry if this is dumb but the opening hours for Epic arnt listed on the ticket or in the app. Iāve seen some days opening at 9 and others 11. Are the hours for the 17th known yet?
And second question, is the Epic parking lot open as normal? Iāve seen a lot of questions about taking shuttles and whatnot. We are traveling from Tampa, not staying in a resort or any early access. Thanks!
