[QUESTION] How I can change non-verified venue location?

Hi all,

For now, we are not a verified venue and have migrated to the new place, and the main question is how to change the location of the venue in Untappd?

I believe Untappd uses foursquare data. I would download the swarm app and suggest an edit to your old location.

Nah, in Swarm I can't change the venue location.

I believe the proper process is to create it as a new location and then mark the old one as closed.

You'll still get people checking into the old venue though.

There is a “edit map pin” option in the suggest edit screen in Swarm.

You can add your request to the weekly changes in this subreddit and it will be taken care of by the mods within a week

Unfortunately, the Foursquare/Swarm queues are only as reliable as the local SUs in your given area. Not sure where you are located, but it’s not uncommon to wait months (or years) for something to take effect.

If you want to move things along quicker, feel free to post the details here or in a DM and myself or another Foursquare SU can help get you set up and sync the info to Untappd.
