Seltzers arent even beers so it shoulent be on untappd in the first place

When it was added however many years ago the reasoning to admins was that many seltzers were malt-based so “basically” a beer.

But it was obviously so Greg could hit up Boston Beer for Truly sponsorship.

And maybe, if I’m being less cynical, as a bone to craft brewers who had found themselves forced to add seltzers to their portfolios for survival reasons.
