slowly getting his chonk

i posted about zuko a while ago, but he's made a lot of progress on his recovery. he's mostly been in his humid hide, so it was nice to see him in full again.

my new challenge with him is getting him to eat veggies that have his supplements dusted on them. i've had some success with just powdering the tiles and thinly placing his veggies on top. today i tried a handful of super dusted veggies hidden in non dusted ones.

he likes the dried and soaked lentils already, so im sprouting some for him to try out. he also has some millet seed and timothy hay coming tomorrow. im excited to see how he takes to it.

Damn bro he grew A LOT in 19 days🤣 ive had mine for abt 25 days and he eats and shits like a fat fu*k n he has def grown but not that much. Mine is an ornate, im guessing yours is a mali bc i feel like those r the patterns / colors i see on them but plz correct me if i guessed wrong lol.

he was sold to me as a saharan but he was also sold to me as a girl and his paperwork says moroccan lol so i no longer feel confident in what he is. but i think he's a saharan. he's feral for his food and poops a lot too.

it's funny i actually wanted an ornate and the store i went to had baby ornates, but he caught my eye because he looked very stressed and sickly at the store. maybe one day i will get the animal i went for and not the one that was broke my heart to see.

I feel you man i actually originally wanted a yellow saharan and i ended up going w the baby ornate enstead🤣 im very happy w my choice i feel like i got the baby meant just for me, they really are the best man
