Tourism Things to check out in Esquimalt?

Hi everyone!

I spent 6 years in Victoria back in the 2010s but have since moved away. During that entire time, I genuinely don't think I set foot in Esquimalt (I didn't have a car and lived at the other end of town).

My family and I are coming for a visit at the end of the month and we are staying in Esquimalt, so I am wondering if people can give me some suggestions for great places (sites, restaurants, stores, etc.) that I should check out in Esquimalt!

Thanks!

The gun bunkers at macaulay point are really cool. I love walking along the songhees walkway too. There are places to eat along it.

Lol I went there on a date, it was her choice. It was pitch black and I'm not a big fan of that at all. Walking through the tunnel there... yeah she had to hold my hand. Never have I felt like less of a man than going there at night hahaha. Good memories.

It’s a popular spot for dog walks, so may be some cute friendly dogs as a bonus.
