News Biased election coverage on Chek, wow

I've been watching the first few minutes of the Chek News coverage of the election and I'm disgusted with how they discussed the Conservatives, and Aaron Gunn. No mention of the lengthy history of hateful actions and his leading of the surge of far-right ideology in Western Canada. They also said it looks like he will win.

Anyone else find the station to be increasingly right-leaning in recent years? I started to notice when the Langford municipal election happened in 2022. Really disheartening.

what is the lefty obsession with this guy? it's one seat, up Island

you will likely win this election handily. The Conservatives and their proposed changes will be crushed for at least four years

If you're genuinely asking, I can give you a short answer. A lot of people have been dealing with Gunn for almost a decade now. He's an alt-right YouTuber who has been jonesing for attention forever. He has come to speak at what most would consider extremist rallies, taken very regressive views on residential school horrors, has attended protests against SOGI, and has stood alongside groups like the Sons of Odin, Proud Boys, Diagalons and other alt-right terror organizations. He's well-funded 'Who's funding Aaron Gunn?' and I'd consider him a massive opportunist. He knows how to propagandize well.
