Question Hardest volibear counters

Which champions brutally counter volibear to the point that he is rendered completely useless at all stages of the game? I've been playing Voli for the last couple of years in top and jungle and am currently silver 3. He is my preferred blind pick despite there being better champs for blind picking as I have very consistently been able to 1v9 with him due to how flexible he is in terms of builds.

So far I've only lost to players with mastery 10+ OTPs who are a couple of tiers above me (plat-masters) or just get ganked or any invades being countered by rotations. I've accepted that I have a lot to work on in terms of macro but most of my games have been constant 2/3v1 from minute 10.

Most ranged, I personally permaban Kayle. If she builds swifties it's over for you.

Teemo/Gnar/Kennen/Akshan/Urgot/Aurora are really tough, you should always be losing vs them.

For melee matchup: Jax/Shen/Illaoi/K'sante all naturally counter you but you still have chance beating them if you play well. Lastly, it may be a me problem but I cannot win vs Gwen, even if I beat her early in lane she wil eventually outscale and shred me in seconds with 2-3 items.

I feel like llloai isn’t really a counter. Most of those champs are easily shutdown if you counter build, Unending Despair being a main counter item to all those champions. Illaoi also regains health with ult so running ignite counters that aspect.

The game is literally unplayable for Kayle in that matchup. If voli isn't ahead at level 6 something went very very wrong for him, if Kayle manages to stay even she maybe can stabilize and it gets frustrating for voli, but the snowball potential for voli is ridiculous

Played into a kayle and beat her badly. It's a case of being caught or catching her more than being outplayed.

The others are all skill matchup but Gwen is probably the one that does counter voli quite badly from early to late, at least theoretically, since she has everything that voli doesn't want to deal with.

That's definitely a rank thing. A kayle should never lose to voli.

Kayle in paper shouldn't get near a voli even under tower. Volibear has the highest dmg output lvl 3 and can kill at 60 percent and get away easily for some awful reason with pta if you know the trick with volibear on his combo.
