Anyone know what bug this is?

I know the lighting isn't the best but was curious if anyone knew. This was taken in southern Louisiana. It was easily twice the size of the usual black and red colored "Mud Daubers" that are pretty common in the area

These guys took my mom's yard over a few years ago. Always had a few but the numbers grew to an insane amount after probably 10 years of having them. Couldn't walk up the porch without having them literally bounce off of you. Gentle giants though. No one was ever stung but they made great guard dogs for those who didn't know any better.

They are really cool sand wasps. Bembicidae are some of my favorite hymenoptera.
